The USt-IdNr. and the Steuernummer the company prints on its own Impressum. A tax ID's type is one of Stripe's tax ID types: eu_vat for the USt-IdNr., de_stn for the Steuernummer. This is not register data.

• Each tax ID was read from a page on the company's own website: provenance names the page (url) and when it was read (retrieved_at), never null.
• The values are not checked with any tax authority (no VIES check). A USt-IdNr. is shown only when its check digit is valid.
• The Steuernummer of a sole trader, a registered GbR, a partnership of professionals or an unclassified legal form identifies a natural person, and is never shown.
• At most one tax ID of each type, eu_vat first. There is never a further page: next_cursor is always null.

When no tax ID can be shown, data is empty and the call is free. When what may be shown cannot be read right now, the request answers 503 with Retry-After, and nothing is charged. The same list is on the company with GET /companies/{company_id}?expand=tax_ids, at the company's price.

A company that was merged into another returns 301 with the surviving company's tax IDs in Location; the redirect is not charged.

Costs 10 credits, free when no tax ID can be shown.
